High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe

HDPE Pipe is a thermo-alkathene plastic polymer produced from the monomer ethylene. It is a type of flexible plastic pipe that is used for gas and fluid transfer. HDPE Pipes’ high level of impermeability and strong molecular bond makes it suitable for high-pressure pipelines. Ashirvad introduces HDPE pipes under the brand name: Swasth which is strong, extremely tough, and very durable.

USP:

  • HDPE pipes are suitable for long service, trouble-free installation, flexibility, resistance to chemicals, and a myriad of other features.
  • This pipe is available in three different raw material-grades based on application requirements, i.e., PE63, PE80, and PE100.
  • PE 63 & PE80 are the oldest HDPE material grades that are in use for gas, water, and industrial applications. PE 100 is the newest HDPE material grade which offers additional long-term strength and performance over PE 63 & PE80 while allowing for thinner pipe walls for the same operating pressure. PE 100 uses lesser polymer and allows for a larger bore and increased flow capacity.
Advantages
  • - High corrosion resistance
  • - High impact strength
  • - Extremely light-weight and hence, easy to handle.
  • - Excellent water hammer characteristics
Applications
  • - Potable water supply.
  • - Gas transmission.
  • - Drip and Sprinkler irrigation
  • - Borewells
  • - House Service connections
