Choose the right flat cable based on the voltage and current needs of your motor setup. Measure and cut the cable to the required length, ensuring a clean, even cut.
Plan the cable path in advance, avoiding sharp bends or obstructions. Ensure it allows for easy access and future maintenance.
Use a wire stripper to remove the outer PVC sheath and expose the three core wires. Take care not to damage the insulation of individual conductors.
Connect the three exposed cores to the starter and motor terminals, ensuring correct polarity and secure grounding. Use terminal lugs or connectors as needed.
Double-check all connections for tightness and insulation. Ensure the cable is securely fixed in place using cable ties or clamps to avoid sagging or damage.
