Step 1

Lower the first pipe into the borehole using a clamp, with the socket end facing upwards for easy connection.

Step 2

Before joining the next pipe, rinse the threaded ends with clean water to remove any dust or debris.

Step 3

Connect the second pipe using a coupling and the rubber sealing ring. Make sure the rubber ring is properly placed inside the coupling.

Step 4

Tighten the connection by hand until only half of the rubber ring is visible. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.

Use clean water or mild soap: Apply clean water or a mild soap solution when joining casing pipes to ensure a smooth and secure connection.

Apply grouting where required: Use grout around the casing, when necessary, to prevent surface water contamination and enhance structural stability.

Install vertically and securely: Ensure pipes are positioned upright and firmly fixed to maintain alignment and steady water flow.

Don’ts

Avoid applying grease to threads: Do not use grease or lubricants on threaded joints, as this may affect sealing and grip strength.

Do not install in inclined borewells: uPVC casing pipes are designed for vertical applications only and should not be used in slanted borewells.

Refrain from using metal tools: Avoid metal wrenches or hard tools during installation, as they can damage threads and weaken connections.

Re-threading is not required under normal use. Our pipes feature precision-cut threads designed for secure installation—custom threading at site is not recommended.
