Why Choose Us?

Superior Strength with Biax™ Technology

Molecular orientation through Biax™ technology delivers exceptional impact resistance and long-lasting structural integrity.

Leak-Proof & Durable Thread Design

Dual sealing rings ensure a 100% leak-proof joint, while the Thick & Thin™ thread zone maintains strength at threaded ends for lasting durability.

Unshakable Grip & Extreme Condition Performance

Heavy-duty square threads provide anti-slip grip and resist torque, reverse flow, and harsh borewell conditions.

Safety, Trust & Global Innovation

Made from lead-free, food-safe compounds, our pipes are backed by 25+ years of trust and globally patented technologies recognized worldwide.

Install with Confidence. Maintain with Ease.

Step 1

Secure the metal connector to the submersible pump using a chain wrench.

Step 2

Clean the pipe threads thoroughly with clean water before joining.

Step 3

Ensure the pump guard is properly installed before connecting the pipes.

Step 4

While opening or joining the pipe/adaptor, always hold the coupling firmly by hand.

Step 5

Hand-tighten the pipe until half of the rubber ring is visible. If needed, give a final jerk using a rope or felt wrench.

Step 6

During lowering, place the clamp below the coupler and secure the top adaptor to the last pipe.

Step 7

Lower the pipes carefully using a chain pulley.

Icon Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s

Use soapy water for smooth joints: Apply clean water or hand soap solution to easily fasten column pipes during installation.

Stick with Ashirvad adaptors: For best results and compatibility, always pair pipes with Ashirvad’s top and bottom adaptors.

Prevent overheating during dry runs: Use 3 meters of steel pipe below the pump to absorb heat and protect the first plastic pipe.

Store smart, avoid direct sunlight: Keep pipes indoors when possible. If outside, cover them to protect from UV exposure.

Control pressure with a top NRV: Installing a Non-Return Valve (NRV) at the top pipe helps avoid water hammer effects.

Stack responsibly: Don’t pile pipe bundles higher than 7 feet to maintain shape and safety.

Don’ts

No grease on pipe threads: Avoid applying grease while tightening joints—it may affect grip and performance.

Avoid inclined borewells: Column pipes are not ideal for slanted or angled borewell installations.

Avoid inclined borewells: Column pipes are not ideal for slanted or angled borewell installations.

No metal wrenches, please: Using metal tools can damage the pipes—stick to plastic or soft-surface tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose only Ashirvad uPVC Column Pipes?

Ashirvad is an ISO-certified company with decades of trust and innovation. Our pipes are designed to meet diverse needs and are supported by a strong dealer and service network across India and globally.

uPVC pipes save you money, reduce installation time, cut energy costs, improve water flow (up to 30% more), and need no maintenance. Plus, they last longer than traditional steel options.

Yes, Ashirvad pipes are engineered for strength. Even though uPVC is lighter than steel, the design ensures performance without compromising on durability.

Absolutely. Ashirvad pipes are built to handle multiple times the weight of your pump, water column, and fittings—safely and reliably.

Our pipes can go as deep as 1200 ft, depending on the pressure and pump specifications. Always consult the technical guide or a professional before selection.

Refer to our technical brochures or speak with an Ashirvad dealer. The right pipe depends on pump type, water pressure, and borewell depth.

No. They’re tough and built for Indian conditions. With normal handling, breakage is not a concern.

In most cases, the pump can be retrieved using Ashirvad pipes. However, in severe collapse situations, recovery can be difficult—just like with steel.

Our trained dealer network is available across India and abroad to help with installations, troubleshooting, and more.

For deeper borewells (V6 or V8 pumps), using a tripod is recommended to handle the heavy load safely. Even then, handling uPVC pipes is easier than steel.

Simply tighten by hand using rope at the coupler—this ensures the rubber seal fits snugly and leak-free.

We don’t recommend cutting the pipes. Instead, contact us for standard 1.5-meter variants, which are available in selected sizes.

No. Our pipe threads are precisely manufactured and can’t be replicated manually on-site.

We suggest only using Ashirvad adaptors—they’re quality-tested for strength, durability, and precision fit.

Ashirvad has over 40 years of piping innovation, a dedicated engineering team, and the distinction of launching column pipes globally. Our products are built around real user needs and tested for long-term reliability.
