This three-year partnership, supported by a project funding initiative from Ashirvad by Aliaxis, aims to address critical water management challenges while equipping students with hands-on experience and insights from industry leaders.

The initiative will operate under an open innovation framework, inviting students to engage with real-world problem statements provided by Ashirvad’s experts. The project will focus on enhancing the efficiencies of water treatment processes and exploring innovative approaches to tackle existing challenges in sustainable water management. A key focus area will be advancing next-generation materials that address both environmental concerns and the increasing demand for cost-effective, high-performance piping solutions.

2. Exploring superior water filtration technologies to minimize waste and remove harmful pollutants
3. Advancing sustainable water recycling techniques for long-term water resource optimization

The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Letter of Intent at Jadavpur University’s Chemistry Department, which has a legacy spanning over 100 years in advanced research and education.
