General Terms and Conditions:

Water storage tank

  1. Product color and image shown in this document are for illustration purpose only and may vary from the actual product. Every effort has been made to ensure factual accuracy and believed to be accurate and reliable, however no responsibility can be accepted for any error, omissions or incorrect assumptions. Ashirvad reserves the right to make any necessary specification changes without any prior notice. Features will vary model to model. For detailed term and conditions please refer warranty and installation card.
  2. Lab tests have revealed that Ashirvad four-layer water tank can help to maintain a temperature lower by 13°C to 15°C between stored water and the ambient temperature of 45°C. The foam layer imparts insulating effect to the tank which helps to keep the temperature of stored water lower than the ambient in summers and it also helps in preventing water from becoming too cold in winters. Terms and conditions apply.

Ashirvad SWR Pr™

Ashirvad SWR Pr™ pipes are designed with enhanced performance features and validated through rigorous laboratory testing. The following statements define the scope, applicability, and limitations of the performance claims.

1. Standards & Scope

Ashirvad SWR Pr™ pipes are manufactured in reference to EN 1401-1:2019 and validated through rigorous internal testing. The current launch scope includes Type A and Type B pipes from 40 mm to 315 mm diameters. While EN 1401-1 specifies nominal sizes starting at 110 mm, Ashirvad has additionally developed and validated the 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 75 mm, 90 mm size through internal testing aligned to EN 1401-1 principles. As per Indian Standards (IS 13592):

  1. Type A pipes are intended for ventilation pipework, rainwater, and rainwater harvesting applications.
  2. Type B pipes are recommended for vertical soil/waste stacks (sewer discharge systems).

2. Pressure Performance

Ashirvad SWR Pr™ pipes are validated for pressure ratings of:

  1. 4.0 kg/cm² (Type A)
  2. 6.0 kg/cm² (Type B)

All tests are done under standard testing conditions. For optimal joint integrity and pressure performance, Ashirvad recommends the exclusive use of Ashirvad uPVC solvent cement with SWR Pr™ pipes and fittings.

3. Limitations & Applicability

  1. Pressure ratings apply as per the above test conditions and when installed with Ashirvad SWR Solfit fittings and Ashirvad uPVC SWR solvent cement, for ideal testing to be done after 24 hours of applying the solvent cement.
  2. All performance claims are derived from controlled laboratory conditions following internal and external standards. Field performance may differ.
  3. Refer to the respective product technical manual for any specific testing.
  4. Ashirvad reserves the right to update specifications, performance data, and product declarations as part of continuous improvement.

Ashirvad SWR 4K™

Ashirvad SWR 4K™ pipes are designed with enhanced performance features and validated through internal and external testing. The following statements define the scope, applicability, and limitations of the performance claims.

1. Standards & Scope

Ashirvad SWR 4K™ pipes are manufactured in reference to EN 1401-1:2019, EN 14366-1 and validated through internal and third-party testing. The current launch scope includes Type A and Type B pipes in 75 mm, 110 mm, and 160 mm diameters. As per Indian Standards (IS 13592):

  1. Type B pipes are recommended for vertical soil/waste stacks (sewer discharge systems).
  2. Type A pipes are intended for ventilation pipework, rainwater and rainwater harvesting applications.

2. Pressure Performance

Ashirvad SWR 4K™ pipes are validated for pressure ratings of:

  1. 4.0 kg/cm² (Type A)
  2. 6.0 kg/cm² (Type B)

All tests are done under standard testing conditions. For optimal joint integrity and pressure performance, Ashirvad recommends the exclusive use of Ashirvad uPVC SWR solvent cement with SWR 4K™ pipes and Ashirvad SWR Solfit fittings.

3. Acoustic Performance

Acoustic testing was conducted at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP), Stuttgart, Germany in accordance with DIN EN 14366-1. The test specimen was DN 110 mm Type B SWR 4K™ pipes, mounted with Ashirvad Silent Plus 110 mm clamps (patent under license from GIRPI, France). Measured structural-borne sound is 14.2 dB(A) at 2l/s under controlled test environment and setup. Based on internal validation and external data, Ashirvad specifies a general system performance of 16 dB(A) under standard installation conditions.

4. Anti-Rodent Properties

  1. Ashirvad SWR 4K™ pipes are formulated with a specialized anti-rodent additive, evaluated by recognized third party laboratory. Efficacy of anti-rodent properties is tested under standard test conditions
  2. The properties are applicable to Ashirvad SWR 4K pipe series only.

5. Limitations & Applicability

  1. Acoustic results are specific to DN 110 mm Type B pipes with Ashirvad Silent Plus clamps. Performance with other pipe sizes, types, or clamp configurations may vary depending upon the usage of clamps and routing.
  2. Pressure ratings apply as per the above test conditions and when installed with Ashirvad SWR Solfit fittings and Ashirvad uPVC SWR solvent cement, for ideal testing to be done after 24 hours of applying the solvent cement.
  3. All performance claims are derived from controlled laboratory conditions following internal and external standards. Field performance may differ.
  4. Ashirvad reserves the right to update specifications, performance data, and product declarations as part of continuous improvement.
  5. While EN 1401-1 specifies nominal sizes starting at 110 mm, Ashirvad has additionally developed and validated the 75 mm size through internal testing aligned to EN 1401-1 principles.
  6. Refer to the respective product technical manual for any specific testing.
