Ashim Chatterjee is a seasoned Marketing and Digital leader with over 23 years of multi-sector experience in P&L management across large brands. Prior to Ashirvad, Ashim was the CMO and Head of Digital Online Sales for Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance where he set up the entire Digital Direct-to-Customer vertical in addition to driving the company’s traditional marketing efforts.
Ashim joined Ashirvad in December 2019. Ashim successfully launched Aditya Birla’s fashion e-commerce brand abof.com. During his stint at Tata Global Beverages, he headed a scientific team that was awarded two patents (in 2008) in India and the large tea-drinking markets of EU, Japan, and Russia. He is the 2015 recipient of the ‘The 50 Most Talented CMOs of India’ award from the World Brand Congress.
Ashim is a University rank holder with a Bachelor’s in Science (Hons) in Botany from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He holds an MBA from the International Management Institute, New Delhi, specializing in Marketing and Strategy.
